Photography 1, Typography Quote/Lyrics

Photography 2, Retouching 1

This is a sample from our first portrait retouching day.  Students were given a portrait and instructed to lightly retouch by using non-destructive editing techniques in Photoshop CS5.

Photography 2, 365 Day 2

For the 365 Project, students were to begin documenting their lives as part of a visual journal.  We will be completing a series of 365 portraits every week from now until the last week of May.  September 2011 - Photography level 2

Photography 2 students completed the "Running Into Arms" project idea from Photojojo.com as a warmup/reintroduction to the class after summer vacation.  Enjoy the samples.


Photography 2: Drops on Glass

As a warmup for the course, Photography 2 students completed the "Drops on Glass" project as featured in JPG Magazine.

Photography 2, LookBook 1

For the LookBook 1 assignment, students were to select inspiration photos from photography magazines or websites in their area of interest and use them as a jumping off point to create their own original compositions.  September 2011 - Photography level 2

For the Elements of Art Quilting assignment, students were to find and photograph examples of the elements in their everyday surroundings.  This was their first assignment to be completed in Photoshop.  September 2011 - Photography level 1
